Christa Borden is the Principal Designer of High & Tight Design.
Christa has always had a love for design. From birth she witnessed her parent’s bustling design and build business. Having lived in a constant construction site and later flipping and renovating her own homes in San Diego, she has always been comfortable in spaces that are in need of some TLC and loves seeing projects transform. While studying studio art at CSULB, she found a love for mid-century modern design. The design concepts and principles of mid-century design guide her own designs to give her clients that clean, modern, timeless look, while incorporating the laid-back “California” vibe that make a home live-able and cozy.
Christa has worked professionally in interior design for ten years. In that time she has had the opportunity to work on many different projects including residential interior design & build and restaurant design & build. She is well versed working with all types of contractors and loves giving all the details of a project her utmost attention. No detail is too small and nothing goes unnoticed with Christa! She thrives on creating and keeping good relationships with contractors and clients alike, to keep all parties happy.
Above all, her goal is to give her clients a space that’s not only beautiful, but feels personal to them.
